What is an AI agent?
It's an AI assistant with a defined role and access to certain data in your workspace. It's good for three things:
- Answer and analyze — it summarizes a dashboard, explains a metric, answers questions about your operation.
- Generate content — texts, ideas, drafts.
- Propose actions — for example creating a task or a campaign, which you confirm before it runs.
The platform's native agent is MB Suite AI, which you may see referred to as MIA: it's the same. It's available on every screen and knows the view you're on. Get to know it in Ask MIA about what you see on screen.
What types of agents are there?
In the AI Agents section, the Agents tab shows your whole team grouped by area (Sales, Paid Media, Content & Social, SEO, Email Marketing, Data & Reports, General), with chips at the top to filter. By origin, there are three kinds:
- System — global agents, available to all users. They come ready and can't be edited.
- Workspace — agents that belong to your organization, which you configure with your instructions and the AI model you choose, tailored to how you work.
- Account (agency workspaces only) — agents specialized per client, which access that account's data.
Where do I find all this?
In the main menu, AI Agents. The section has three tabs:
- Agents — your team. Each agent has a card with its face, its name, its role and its engine: click it to chat, or use the hover actions to duplicate, personalize or edit it. Create agent (top right) and Add a member open the editor for a new one. Inside each area, the Assigned modules & seats panel shows which agent serves that part of the app — see System agents: an expert for each area.
- Usage — how much AI you used this cycle (see See your AI usage and control your credits).
- Limits — caps to control spend.
Where do I start?
- For daily use, talk to MB Suite AI (MIA): shortcut ⌘J or the MB AI button. It's the fastest path to value.
- If you want an assistant tailored to your team, create your own agent.
- To understand why the AI answers differently depending on the section, see how agents work by area.
- If agents of yours already hold seats in the CRM or the Social Inbox, read Agents and seats: who's who on your AI team to see how the two levels fit together.
Still have questions?
Ask MIA, the MB Suite AI assistant: open it with the MB AI button (⌘J) in the top bar. MIA knows the section you're in, so you can ask it about what you see on screen — and it can also answer how-to questions about using MB Suite.
