Where do I find it?
- In the main menu, AI Agents, and the Work tab. Its direct link ends in
?tab=work. - The header tells you what's new and what's waiting in the lane you have open —3 new deliverables · 2 proposals waiting— or “You're all caught up: nothing new and nothing waiting for your OK”.
- Ask for a background job, top right, opens the chat with MIA in a new conversation, to ask for one-off work (see Background jobs: hand MIA the long work and get on with yours).
The routines' bells and emails bring you here: they open the deliverable they're about or, if they say a routine was paused, that routine's sheet, in Jobs and routines. Review N proposals, in the Office, brings you here too. What's working right now and what's coming up is shown by the Office (see The Office and each agent's profile: who's working, on what and how much it spent).
What's in Work?
At the top, the amber Waiting for your OK band, with the proposals waiting for a decision (more below). Below it, a selector with two views:
- Deliverables, the one that opens by default — what the routines and your finished background jobs left, mixed together and grouped by day. Its number is what you haven't read yet in the open lane.
- Jobs and routines — every routine you can see and your background jobs in progress, with their buttons (more below). Its number is what needs something from you: the routines paused by something other than a person, and the background jobs waiting for you to start them or for your answer. Its direct link ends in
?tab=work&view=routines.
How do I approve or reject what they propose?
Proposals waiting for a decision land in the amber Waiting for your OK band, with how many there are and the reminder “Approving runs the change as you, with your permissions.” Up to three show; See all N shows the rest. Each row says what changes —in the same words as the chat cards—, which agent proposes it, which deliverable it comes from, which account if it covers several, and when it expires.
- Approve (A) runs the change right then, as you: the row goes away and a notice confirms what was done.
- Reject (R) discards it: nothing runs.
- Tapping the title opens the deliverable in its Proposals tab, with the change field by field, so you can look at it before deciding.
Anyone who sees a proposal can decide it —a viewer can't— and it waits 7 days; after that it expires without running. If you can't make that change —because you lack permission in that module, for example—, it isn't lost: it keeps waiting for someone who can. What you approve is recorded under your name in Activity.
What if approving asks me for something else?
- The numbers changed — before running, MB Suite checks the change again. If the number of records it touches changed since it was proposed, nothing runs: “The numbers changed since it was prepared: review the proposal and approve it again.” The proposal already shows the new numbers.
- A large batch — if the change touches 100 records or more, the detail asks you for the number: “This change touches N items. To approve it, type the number.” Type it and approve; if it doesn't match, “The number doesn't match.”
- It now needs a confirmation with every detail — if since it was proposed the change came to need one (for example, because it now goes out of MB Suite), it doesn't run from the inbox: “This change now needs a confirmation with every detail: ask {agent} for it in a conversation.”
- It's no longer waiting — “That proposal expired: it can no longer be approved.” or “That proposal was already decided.”
What are the Mine, Team and All lanes?
- Mine — the routines you set up and what they leave, and your background jobs.
- Team — the routines someone else shared with all members or with you, and what they leave.
- All — only for owners and admins: all the account's routines and what they leave, including other people's personal ones, and your background jobs (other people's, never).
The lanes apply to both views and to the Waiting for your OK band, which shows the proposals of the open lane. In Deliverables, each lane shows how many unread deliverables you have. It starts on Mine and remembers, in this browser, the last one you chose.
How do I find a deliverable?
Deliverables and your finished background jobs are grouped by day —Today, Yesterday, This week and Earlier—, newest first. Each deliverable's card has the agent's face (tapping it opens its profile), its name and the time, the title, the start of the summary and its tags: the severity when it needs a look —Critical or Attention—, the accounts, the credits, the proposals waiting and Nothing new. What you haven't opened yet has a violet dot, and Mark as read shows up when you hover.
- Search deliverables… —or the / key— searches the title, the summary, the agent, the accounts and the findings, regardless of accents or capitals.
- Agent and Severity — only one agent's, or only one severity.
- Unread — only what you haven't opened yet.
If the filters leave the inbox empty, Clear the filters shows everything again. If there are many deliverables, the inbox shows the most recent ones and tells you so at the bottom; an older one still opens from its link.
What's in a deliverable's detail?
Opening it marks it as read. At the top, the agent, the routine, the date and the severity; below, three tabs:
- Report — the summary; “Nothing new: there was no need to call the AI.”, if there was nothing new; the Findings, from most to least serious (with several accounts, also By account); the Full report, and how each of the Accounts went.
- Step by step — what the agent did to get there; with several accounts, how each one went. It's kept for 6 months.
- Proposals — each change it left, field by field, with its status —Waiting for your OK, Applying…, Applied, Rejected, Couldn't be applied or Expired—, who decided it and when, and Approve and Reject on the ones still waiting.
At the bottom, what it cost and how long it took; Run now, if you can run that routine —when it can't run right then, it tells you why—; Delete deliverable, if you set up the routine or you're an owner or an admin: it's deleted with its proposals, including the ones waiting for your OK, and it can't be undone; and Ask {agent}, which opens a new conversation with that agent and asks it to tell you what it found and what to do first.
What's in “Jobs and routines”?
Everything you asked the agents for, in one place: the Routines you can see —active, paused and the ones that run on an event—, the ones that need something first, and your Background jobs in progress. The bar filters by lane, by Status (Active routines or Paused routines: with either one, only routines show), by Agent and with Search routines and jobs….
- Each routine — its name and status; its agent and, if it isn't yours, whose it is; When it runs, with its next time, what it's on or why it's paused; Where it looks, and Last run: when it ran and how it went —Nothing new, how many findings or Report ready— or “Hasn't run yet”.
- Its buttons — Run now (its tooltip says roughly how much it spends), Pause or Resume (or Take it over), Edit and, in More actions, Adjust with {agent}, See everything it left and Delete. Whoever set it up, an owner or an admin has them; for everyone else, a padlock says who can change it. A routine paused because its owner lost access isn't edited: it's taken over (see Routines: put an agent to work on its own, on a schedule or when something happens).
- Each background job in progress — its status, what it's on (for example, “Waiting for you to start it from its card” or “Waiting for you to confirm a change”) or, while it works, since when —Started 5 minutes ago; a scheduled one counts from its time, not from when you scheduled it—, where it works and its credits. Tapping it opens its details in the MIA panel, on top of the conversation you have open, and, when it can still be canceled, Cancel the background job asks you first, like its card. When it's done —finished, needing something from you or failed—, it moves to Deliverables.
Pausing, resuming, taking over and saving an edit show right away; if MB Suite can't do it, it goes back as it was and tells you why. Run now waits for the answer, because it uses credits. If there's nothing yet, the view says so —“You haven't asked your team for anything yet”— with Ask for a routine (and Ask for a background job); a viewer sees “Nothing shared with you yet”, also with Ask for a background job.
What does a routine's sheet show?
Tapping a routine opens its sheet on the side; the notice of a paused routine opens it too. At the top, its agent and its status and, when it matters, how it's doing: working —with See the steps, which shows what it's doing and, when it finishes, switches to its deliverable on its own—, queued, paused and why —with Resume or Take it over—, its Next up or “Runs when its event happens”. Below:
- What it does — the suggested routine, with its description, or its instructions, if it's a custom one; and Adjust with {agent}, to change it by chatting.
- When, Where it looks and Settings — its schedule or the event that puts it to work, the account or Accounts it reviews, and its thresholds.
- Who sees it and how it arrives, and Credits — how much it spends per run and per month, its cap and how much it has used.
- Latest deliverables — its most recent deliverables, which open their details, and See everything it left.
At the bottom, who set it up and when, and the buttons: Delete, Run now, Pause or Resume (or Take it over) and Edit, which turns the sheet into the form to edit it without chatting (see Routines: put an agent to work on its own, on a schedule or when something happens). A routine that has to be taken over has no Edit. Whoever can't change it sees the padlock and who can. The same sheet opens in the agent's profile and in the Jobs and routines tab of its setup, on top of them: closing it takes you back where you were, and See everything it left, a deliverable or See the steps bring you here, to Work.
How do I see everything a routine left?
With See everything it left —on its sheet or in More actions on its row—, Deliverables shows only that routine's: the bar shows Routine: {name} instead of the lanes, the Waiting for your OK band shows only its proposals, and See everything goes back to the whole inbox.
What keyboard shortcuts does it have?
The keyboard button on the right of the bar, Keyboard shortcuts, shows them (not on phones). They work with the inbox in focus and never while you type:
- J / K — move between proposals and deliverables (in Jobs and routines, between the rows); with a deliverable's detail open, go to the next or previous one.
- Enter — open.
- E — mark as read.
- A / R — approve or reject the proposal in focus.
- N — ask for a background job.
- / — search.
- Esc — close the detail.
Who sees what in Work?
You see what includes you: your background jobs, and the routines you set up or that are shared with you, with what they leave. An owner or an admin sees all the account's routines and what they leave, but never other people's background jobs. And nobody sees through a deliverable what they can't see in MB Suite: if it brings data from an account or a module you don't see, it doesn't show up for you (see Routines: put an agent to work on its own, on a schedule or when something happens).
Still have questions?
Ask MIA, the MB Suite AI assistant: open it with the MB AI button (⌘J) in the top bar. MIA knows the section you're in, so you can ask it about what you see on screen — and it can also answer how-to questions about using MB Suite.
