Where's the Office?
In AI Agents, the Office tab, between Agents and Work (its direct link ends in ?tab=office). Agents is still your usual team: that's where you create, configure, duplicate and personalize agents, with their seats. The Office starts with a Live bar that sums up the moment —2 working · 1 waiting for your OK · 3 scheduled— and Review N proposals, which takes you to Work. If nobody's working, it tells you who's up next —Nobody is working right now · Next up: Sofía, tomorrow at 8:00 AM— or “The whole team is resting”. Top right, Ask for a background job opens the chat with MIA in a new conversation.
What does each agent's status mean?
Each agent shows the most urgent thing it has on its plate:
- Working — one of its routines or background jobs is running.
- Waiting for your OK — a background job is waiting for you to start it or answer, or its routines left proposals undecided.
- Paused — something it was doing was paused; for example, a background job that's Out of credits.
- Scheduled — it has something for later: an active routine or a scheduled background job.
- Resting — nothing in progress or scheduled.
Next to the status, since when —3 min ago— and what it's on: the title of the background job or routine, its progress —4 of 6 accounts— or what it's waiting for, like Waiting for you to confirm a change or Reached its credit cap.
Desks or List?
- Desks — each agent at its desk, grouped by area like the rooms of an office (MIA, in the Team lead one). The light tells the status: violet that pulses while it works, amber when it raises its hand to wait for your OK, off when it's resting. Desks don't move: the light changes, not the place. If an agent is doing several things at once, its face shows how many: ×2.
- List — one row per agent: Agent, Status, Working on, Since, Copies (how many things it's doing at once), Next up and Credits this month, with the Month total at the bottom. It sorts by column; by default, the most urgent on top. On phones, the same information in two lines per agent.
The view you choose is saved for you: next time it opens the same way, also on another device.
What's an agent's profile?
It's each agent's work record. It opens when you tap the agent in the Office or its face in Work —on a deliverable, in the Waiting for your OK band or on a routine in Jobs and routines—, and it has:
- Who it is and what it's on — its face, name, role and area; its status —Working, Waiting for your OK, Paused, Scheduled or Resting— and since when, what it's on and what's next.
- The month's numbers — Runs, Deliverables, Approved proposals and Credits.
- Credits per week — a chart of the last 8 weeks.
- Routines — the ones of its you can see, with their status, when they work and the next or last time, where they look when it isn't just this account and, if they aren't yours, whose they are, or why they're paused. They have the same buttons as in Work: Run now (hover over it to see roughly how many credits it uses), Pause or Resume (or Take it over, for an owner or an admin, when it was paused because its owner lost access), Edit and, in More actions, Adjust with {agent}, See everything it left and Delete. Whoever set each one up, an owner or an admin has them; for everyone else, a padlock says who can change it. Tapping a routine opens its sheet on top of the profile, and closing it takes you back to the profile; See everything it left, a deliverable on the sheet and See the steps close the profile and take you to Work. If it has none you can see, the profile says so —“{agent} has no routines you can see.”— and, if you can set up routines, offers Ask for a routine, which opens a conversation with the agent.
- Latest runs — its last 20, with their status, how they started (Background job, On schedule, On event or On demand), when they started (a scheduled background job, at its time, not when you scheduled it; if it hasn't started yet, when it will: For {date} (the account's time)), how many accounts they covered and how long they worked. Tapping a finished routine opens its deliverable in Work; one that's working right now, its step by step, also in Work (See the steps); a background job, its details in the MIA panel, on top of the conversation you have open.
At the bottom, Configure opens the agent's setup —with its Jobs and routines tab— and Ask for a background job opens a new conversation with it to ask for one-off work (see Background jobs: hand MIA the long work and get on with yours).
What do its numbers count?
What you can see: “Counts the work you can see: your background jobs and the routines that include you.” That's why two people can see different numbers for the same agent. An owner or an admin sees everything from the account's routines, but not other people's background jobs, which belong to whoever asked for them. The Credits this month in the List view are counted the same way as in the profile, and the month and the weeks follow the account's time zone.
And if nobody's working?
The Office tells you “Your team is resting” and offers Ask for a background job —it opens the chat with MIA with the request started: I'd like to ask you for a background job:— and See suggested routines, which asks MIA which routines are worth putting to work (see Routines: put an agent to work on its own, on a schedule or when something happens).
Still have questions?
Ask MIA, the MB Suite AI assistant: open it with the MB AI button (⌘J) in the top bar. MIA knows the section you're in, so you can ask it about what you see on screen — and it can also answer how-to questions about using MB Suite.
