How do I create an agent?
Go to AI Agents and click Create agent. A side editor opens with several steps you can go through in order.
What do I configure in each step?
- General — the Name your team sees (optional: leave it empty and the agent takes the name of the face you choose), the Role it plays —what it's for—, the description, the icon and color, the AI model (the editor comes with one selected by default, so you don't need to decide it to get started), and the Response style (Precise, Balanced, or Creative), depending on whether you want more exact or more original answers.
- Context — what the agent can see: Screen context, Data sources, and the types of data from your operation it can work with. Your workspace's basic information is always included; here you add the rest.
- Capabilities — how it interacts. The Conversational mode (it reads, analyzes, and answers) is always on; you can add execution capabilities so it proposes actions and waits for your confirmation.
- Prompts — the instructions that define its behavior and the frequently used quick prompts.
- Knowledge — your own material that you want it to have on hand.
- Testing — try the agent before making it available to your team.
Why do some agents show fewer steps?
In General you also choose the agent's Channel: In-app (it works inside MB Suite), WhatsApp + CRM (it talks to your leads) or Social media (it replies to your audience). If you pick one of the last two, the editor keeps only General and Knowledge: this agent doesn't chat inside the app, so the screen context, the capabilities and the quick prompts don't apply to it. Its cadence, channels, fields, schedule and extra knowledge belong to the seat it holds in the CRM or in the Social Inbox, and a notice in the editor links you straight there.
How do I give it a name and a face?
In the editor, the portrait on the left is the agent's face. You can choose it on any agent of yours —created from scratch, duplicated or personalized—; only System ones keep their fixed face.
- Click Change face over the portrait —or Choose a face, if the agent doesn't have one yet.
- Pick a portrait from Gallery, a face from the MB Suite team (it comes with its name), or use Upload image for your own.
- Save. If you left Name empty, the agent takes the name of the team face you chose.
Can I create an agent per client? (agencies)
Yes. If your workspace is an agency one, when creating an agent you can assign it to an Account: it will access that client's data and documents. These appear under the list's Account filter, separate from the Workspace ones.
Why can't I edit some agents?
The configuration of System agents is disabled: you can chat with them but not edit them, MB Suite manages them and they're available to everyone. To have one tailored to you, create your own from the Workspace with the configuration you want.
Still have questions?
Ask MIA, the MB Suite AI assistant: open it with the MB AI button (⌘J) in the top bar. MIA knows the section you're in, so you can ask it about what you see on screen — and it can also answer how-to questions about using MB Suite.
