How much does each option cost?
| Option | AI credits | List price |
|---|---|---|
| AI Plus (tier) | +20,000 / month | US$60 / month (US$3 per 1,000) |
| AI Pro (tier) | +50,000 / month | US$125 / month (US$2.50 per 1,000) |
| AI Max (tier) | +100,000 / month | US$200 / month (US$2 per 1,000) |
| Extra credits | 2,000 to 100,000 per recharge | US$5 per 1,000 |
These are list prices in U.S. dollars. The one that applies is the one you see in AI Agents > Usage: before you confirm a purchase —or turn auto-recharge on— you see the exact amount, and if the price of extra credits changes before the charge, nothing is charged: the screen asks you to review the new amount. How far the credits go is in AI credits by plan: an estimated usage guide.
How is the AI tier charged?
It's one more item of your subscription: it goes on the same invoice and renews on the same day as your plan, until you remove it or the subscription ends. You have one at a time, and you raise it, lower it or remove it from the AI tier row. The confirmation reminds you of this before you pay, and each change is confirmed by email. If the price of a tier changes, we'll let you know by email at least 30 days before it applies to yours.
If I add or raise it mid-cycle, how much do I pay today?
Only the part of the cycle that's left, on a separate invoice charged right away to your saved card, and today's credits arrive in the same proportion. If you already had a tier, you pay the difference against what you already paid in this cycle; from the renewal on, the full monthly amount.
Examples: with 18 of the cycle's 30 days ahead, adding AI Pro costs US$75 today (US$125 × 18/30) and adds 30,000 credits. With half the cycle ahead, going from AI Plus to AI Pro costs US$32.50 today ((US$125 − US$60) × 1/2) and adds 15,000 credits.
And if I lower it or remove it?
It takes effect at the renewal and the cycle isn't refunded: until that date you keep the tier you paid for, with all its credits, and from the renewal on the new one is charged —or nothing, if you removed it—. Until then, Undo puts it back as it was without charging anything, and if you go up again, you pay only the difference against what you already paid in the cycle.
The tier's credits, like the plan's, belong to the cycle: what you don't use doesn't carry over to the next one.
Can I add a tier during the free trial?
Yes. You choose it now and it starts with your first charge: it's added to that invoice, the same one the emails 7 and 3 days before the trial ends tell you about. During the trial it doesn't add credits; if you need more AI before that, you can recharge extra credits or activate your plan early with Activate my plan, in Settings > Subscription. See The 14-day trial: what it includes and whether you need a card.
What happens with a pending payment, or if I cancel the subscription?
With a pending payment you can't add or raise a tier or recharge extra credits, but you can lower or remove the tier. The tier you already had stays on your subscription, and auto-recharge is on hold until the payment is settled: then it comes back on its own.
If the subscription is canceled, the tier goes with it and auto-recharge is turned off: if you come back, you have to turn it on again. Your balance of extra credits is kept.
How are extra credits charged?
Each recharge is a separate invoice, charged right away to the default card of the organization that pays the subscription, and the credits are available at once. They're always charged at full price: your subscription's discounts and promotions don't apply to them.
Extra credits don't expire: they're used only once the month's credits run out, and they carry over from one cycle to the next for as long as your organization exists. They have no cash value, can't be transferred to another organization and aren't refundable, unless the law requires it.
You can recharge from 2,000 to 100,000 credits at a time, in steps of 1,000, and make up to 3 recharges and US$1,000 a day (UTC time), adding up manual and automatic ones.
How does the monthly cap work?
It's the maximum, in dollars, for each billing cycle on two things: the extra credits the AI can use and what auto-recharge can charge. There's always one: it starts at US$100 —at today's price, 20,000 extra credits per cycle— and you change it in Configure, between US$10 and US$5,000. When the AI reaches it, extra credits and auto-recharge stop until the renewal, and auto-recharge never charges a recharge that, added to what it already charged in the cycle, would go over the cap. Recharges you make by hand don't have this cap, only the daily limit. Only the owner of the organization that pays can raise it; an admin can lower it too. A cap below what the cycle has already used stops extra credits right away.
What do I authorize when I turn auto-recharge on?
That APEX LAB SOLUTIONS LLC —the U.S. company that owns MB Suite— charges the amount you accepted, for the extra credits you chose, to the default card of the organization that pays, every time your available credits —what's left of the month plus your extra credits— drop below the threshold you set. Auto-recharge never charges more than the monthly cap in a cycle, and there are never more than 3 recharges a day. The authorization is recorded with the date, who gave it and its terms (threshold, amount and cap), and you get an email every time you turn it on, change it or turn it off, and when it's paused, put on hold or turns itself off.
It only charges the amount you accepted. If the price of extra credits or its terms change, it turns off before charging anything different, we let you know by email, and to turn it back on you accept the new terms. It also turns off, without charging, if the default card changes or if the bank no longer accepts charges on that card; in that case, you need another card to turn it back on.
Turning it on doesn't charge anything at that moment: the first recharge arrives when your available credits drop below the threshold. Since the threshold also counts what's left of the month, if you have few or no extra credits the recharge arrives before the month's credits run out, and the AI doesn't stop right at the edge. Turning it on or changing it is up to the owner or an admin of the organization that pays.
How do I turn auto-recharge off?
- In AI Agents > Usage, in the Extra credits row, press Configure.
- Turn Auto-recharge off and press Save.
- Done: no more automatic recharges. The ones already charged aren't reversed, and your balance of extra credits stays available.
An owner or an admin of the organization itself —or, in an Account, also of its agency— can turn it off at any time. The receipt of each automatic recharge explains how.
Why was auto-recharge paused or turned off?
It's paused if the card declines the charge or the bank asks to authenticate it —the charge isn't retried on its own—, or after three errors in a row when charging. You get an email and a notice in the bell, and the Extra credits row says why (Paused: the card declined the charge). Check your payment method in Settings > Subscription —see View your invoices and your payment method— and turn it back on in Configure: saving it turned on makes it work again. It's also paused while the subscription of the organization that pays isn't active.
It turns itself off, without charging, if who pays for the credits changes —for example, an Account your agency stops paying for—, if the price of extra credits or the default card changes, if the bank no longer accepts charges on that card, or if the subscription ends. We let you know by email, and the row says why (Turned off: the default card changed). To turn it back on, check the details in Configure and accept its terms again; if the bank no longer accepts charges on the card, you first need another default card. With a pending payment, on the other hand, it's on hold (On hold: there's an unpaid invoice on the subscription) and comes back on its own once the invoice is paid.
Which receipts and notices do I get?
- A receipt for every recharge, manual or automatic, sent to the owners and admins of the organization that pays and to the subscription's billing email: the credits, the amount, the card, the invoice number and the new balance. The one for an automatic recharge explains how to turn it off.
- An email for every tier change: when you add it, raise it, lower it, remove it or undo the change, with what was charged today and when the new monthly amount starts.
- An email when auto-recharge is turned on, changed or turned off, and when it's paused, put on hold or turns itself off, with the reason.
- The cycle summary: if in the cycle you spent more on extra credits than a tier would have cost, you get the cycle summary by email, with the numbers, and Usage shows it with the switch one click away.
The tier's monthly amount appears on your subscription's invoice. Each recharge's invoice opens from its number in Activity (for the owner and the admins of the organization that pays), and the one for a tier charge comes in its email.
Are there refunds?
Lowering or removing a tier has no refund: it takes effect at the renewal and, until then, you use what you paid for. Extra credits aren't refunded, unless the law requires it. If you see a charge you don't recognize, or a duplicate one, write to support@mb-suite.com with the invoice number. When a recharge is refunded, its credits are removed from your balance. And if MB Suite stops providing the service to your organization by its own decision, or stops offering the AI features, we refund the extra credits you haven't used, at the price you paid for them.
Can I add a tier if I have a promotion?
While your subscription has a percentage promotion running, the tier can't be added or raised: you add it once the promotion ends, and the screen tells you. In the meantime you can recharge extra credits, which are always charged at full price. Lowering or removing a tier, on the other hand, is always possible.
How does it work in an Account my agency pays for?
Purchases are made by an owner or an admin of the agency, from inside the Account: they're charged to the agency's card, and the credits go to that Account's pool, for its team. The tier goes as an item of its own, with the Account's name, on the agency's monthly invoice; today's amount is prorated against the agency's cycle, and lowering or removing it takes effect at the agency's next renewal (the Account shows it as pending). The tier's credits renew with the Account's plan credits, on the 1st of each month. While the agency's workspace is on its free trial, the Account's tier can't be added or raised yet: it's added once the trial ends, and in the meantime the Account can use extra credits. The Account's team can't buy: they see "Purchases for this account are managed by your workspace." What its owner and admins can do is cut the spending: lower or remove the tier, lower the monthly cap and turn auto-recharge off.
Keep in mind who uses what: what you buy for the Account is used by its direct team, while the Account's automatic AI —the CRM's AI Team, scoring and the Social Inbox— and your agency's people use the workspace's credits. In an Account your agency manages without a subscription of its own, everything goes to the workspace's credits. If the Account stops being paid for by the agency —for example, it starts paying for itself—, its tier ends without a refund, auto-recharge is turned off and its balance of extra credits is kept. See Your agency's billing: plans and who pays for each account.
The included credits, AI tiers, extra credits and auto-recharge are governed by section 6 of the Terms and Conditions, which always carry the current version.
