Your agency's billing: plans and who pays for each account

Updated 2026-07-14

In two lines: your agency pays a plan for its operation, and for each Account you decide who bears the cost: the agency or the client themselves. With that you set up the billing of your whole portfolio however suits you best.

What determines my agency's cost?

Your plan: it defines how many accounts you can manage and which modules you have active, and as you add accounts you get a volume discount. The detail of tiers and prices is explained in Plans and pricing.

Who pays for each account?

Each account can be billed in two ways:

  • Your agency pays — the usual mode: your workspace covers the subscription of all its accounts. You have your portal and you can give them access to a client panel.
  • The client pays — the client themselves bears the cost of their account directly. Useful when you want each client to manage their part or to access modules through their own MB Suite account.

How do I make a client pay for their account?

When you activate the client's account, at the billing step you choose The client pays. Once you confirm it, that account's owner receives by email an invitation to add their own payment method, with a grace period to complete it. The account stays in "Waiting for activation" until the client completes the payment. See Create and activate a client's account.

Choose according to your operation: centralizing everything in the agency simplifies your administration; having the client pay their part takes that cost off your hands. To understand the workspace–account relationship, see Workspace and Account.

Where do I manage all this?

In Settings > Subscription you see your plan, your next charge, and the invoices, and you change tier whenever you need to. See Manage your subscription.

Plans, charges, and cancellation conditions are governed by the Terms and Conditions, which always hold the current version.
