How do I create an account?
Go to Accounts and use New Account. You give it a name and its Industry, and confirm with Create Account. The account is born internal (in internal mode): you can already work on it, but it doesn't yet have its own active subscription.
What can an internal-mode account do?
A lot more than it sounds: an internal-mode account already has all operational modules enabled. In short:
- Enabled modules — Integrations, Analytics (dashboards, reports, monitors), Paid Media, Social Media, SEO and the other operational modules work normally: you can connect the client's networks and platforms and work without activating anything.
- Email Marketing — available only for organizations with their own subscription.
- CRM — available only for organizations with their own subscription.
- Tasks, Contacts & Projects — in accounts without a subscription, they are managed from the agency level, assigned to that organization.
- Members — direct member management applies only to organizations with a subscription; in an internal account, people are assigned as its team from the agency.
- Activation — when you activate the account you choose the billing mode and everything above becomes available.
What does activating the subscription mean?
When the account moves from internal work to a real client, you activate its subscription. In that step you define who pays its subscription and, if applicable, you enter the Client owner email. Choosing the billing mode is explained in Who pays for each account: the agency or the client.
What does an account inherit from the workspace?
An account doesn't start from scratch: it inherits resources from the workspace, especially the integrations and modules you already have connected. That's why, when you connect a platform at the workspace level, your accounts can use it without connecting it again.
How do I switch from one account to another?
From the organization selector in the top bar. See Switch between your workspaces and accounts.
