How do I download the quote?
The quote lives inside the deal: the lines you load in the Quote tab are the same ones that print in the document. You don't rewrite anything — you turn what's already there into a presentable file.
- Open the deal and go to its Quote tab. Add the lines from Products or as a Free line, with their quantity, price, discount and Frequency (One-time or Monthly).
- Press Download quote. If you have unsaved changes, MB Suite asks you to Save and continue first, so the PDF matches exactly what you see on screen.
- In Options, choose the Template, the validity in Valid (days), the document's Language (Spanish, English or Portuguese, independent of the language you use the app in) and, if you want, a Message for this quote. Tick or untick the Attached pages you want to include.
- Check the result in Preview: it's the real document, not an approximation. Everything you change on the left is reflected there.
- Press Download PDF. The file opens in a new tab, ready to send to your client.
How is the quote numbered, and what happens if I change it?
Each deal's quote gets a correlative number (for example COT-2026-0042) on its first download, not before. Until then the tab shows Draft — not issued.
If you download it again, the number doesn't change: it's the same quote, updated. The button reads Download again, and if you edited the lines since the last download it reads Download updated and the deal warns you with Modified since last download — so you never send a client a document that no longer matches what you agreed.
Every download is recorded in Issue history, in that same tab: date, number, template, who issued it and the total. Each row re-downloads its own frozen PDF —exactly what the client received that day—, never a regenerated version. That's your backup when someone asks "what did I send you in March?".
How do I give the document my company's look?
You don't have to configure anything to start: without touching settings, the quote comes out with the standard design and your brand color. When you want to make it yours, go to CRM > Settings > Quotes, which has three tabs.
- Templates — press New template and pick one of three designs (Classic, Modern or Compact), an Accent color and an optional Introduction that prints above the line detail. Mark one as Default template and it will be preselected every time you download a quote.
- Attached pages — with New page you write reusable documents (your terms of sale, payment methods, a short company intro) in a rich text editor. You write them once and attach them to the templates you want; they print at the end of the PDF.
- Numbering & issuer — set the Prefix and the Next number of your correlative series, the Default validity (days), and your Issuer details (legal name, tax ID, address, email, phone, website), which print in the document header.
Next step: to keep the catalog that feeds these quotes tidy, see Products and catalogs: your manual list and synced feeds.

Ask MIA, the MB Suite AI assistant: open it with the MB AI button (⌘J) in the top bar. MIA knows the section you're in, so you can ask it about what you see on screen — and it can also answer how-to questions about using MB Suite.
