I don't see data in SEO (rankings, indexation, or audit)

Updated 2026-07-07

In two lines: an empty SEO section is almost never an error. It's usually a missing connection, a blocked crawl, or data that's still being gathered. Check the cause depending on the section.

Indexation or Rankings: Google Search Console is missing

Indexation and the keyword import in Rankings work with Google Search Console data. If the section asks you to connect, connect it from Settings > Integrations and choose the site property.

Even connected, keep in mind that Search Console reports with a 2 to 3 day delay: very recent data takes time to appear.

Rankings: the project just started

If you just set up the Rankings project, positions don't appear instantly: they fill in on the first scheduled check. You can force one with Check now (it consumes a manual check from your plan). If you added many keywords, give them a few minutes.

Site Audit: the crawl is blocked

If the audit doesn't analyze pages or fails, the most common cause is the site blocking the crawler with a firewall or anti-bot protection (for example, Cloudflare). You have to allow the crawler's access from the site's security; the Site Audit itself links how to do it. It's an adjustment on the site's side, not MB Suite's.

Local SEO: the listing isn't connected, or the keywords haven't loaded yet

To manage the listing you need to connect Google Business Profile in Settings > Integrations and choose the location in Settings > Data Sources.

And if the listing is connected but Search Keywords appears empty: Google needs 30 to 60 days of traffic before showing those terms. It's not an error, it's missing history.

General rule: before assuming something is broken, check (1) whether the integration feeding that section is connected, and (2) whether the data needs time to gather. Those two causes explain the vast majority of "empty" screens.

Still have questions?

Ask MIA, the MB Suite AI assistant: open it with the MB AI button (⌘J) in the top bar. MIA knows the section you're in, so you can ask it directly about what you see on screen.
