When MIA can't do something yet, and how to pass a request to support

Updated 2026-10-22

In two lines: if MIA can't do something from the chat yet, it tells you so on a card, notes it for the MB Suite team and, if there's one, offers you the screen where you can do it. If you need help now, Hand off to support sends your request to the team, who replies by email.

What does “Not available in the chat” mean?

That what you asked can't be done from the chat yet: no MB Suite operation does it. The card shows your request and says “I can't do this from here yet. I noted it for the MB Suite team.” That note goes to the product team, which sees how many people ask for the same thing and builds it for everyone. MIA writes it describing what you wanted, without other people's personal data.

That note doesn't open a support request, and you won't get a reply to it. If you need it solved now, follow the steps below.

How do I get it solved now?

  • If the card says “You can do it in {module}”, click Go to {module} (or Go to the screen): it takes you to the screen where you can do it yourself.
  • If you need a hand, click Hand off to support: your request is written in the message box. Review it, add whatever helps and send it.
  • MIA passes it to the MB Suite team and the card confirms it —“I passed it to the MB Suite team. They'll reply by email.”—, with the request number.
You don't need that card to ask for help: tell MIA what's going on —an error that keeps coming back, data that doesn't add up— and ask it to pass it to support.

Why do I sometimes have to send the request myself?

If in that request MIA read something written by other people —your records, a file you attached, settings anyone on your team can write or what comes from the web—, it doesn't send anything to the team on its own: it shows you a Request to the MB Suite team card titled Review the request before sending it, with what will be sent. Read it and click Send to the MB Suite team, or Dismiss if you don't want to send it.

There's a daily limit on requests per person. If you reach it, or if a request can't be sent, MIA tells you so and how to write to us.

Can MIA answer about prices, plans or more modules?

No: MIA doesn't talk about prices or activate modules. If you need something commercial, it passes your request to the team as Sales, and they reply by email. Your plan and what it includes are in Settings > Subscription (see Plans and pricing: what each plan defines).

What if MIA says I don't have permission?

That's different: it's not that MIA doesn't know how, but that your permissions don't reach, and MIA's are yours. You see it as a step in red in the list of steps that says what it couldn't do —“Couldn't create…”— and why; for example, “Your role isn't enough for this.” Ask an owner or an admin. The same goes for what MIA doesn't do on purpose: “Connected email and calendars aren't touched from the chat.” or “This can only be done from the screen.”

And if the panel shows an error?

Errors arrive as a card with the cause and the way out: Retry when it makes sense, New conversation if the conversation got too long, and Buy credits or Go to Subscription for owners and admins when credits or the subscription are the problem.

If you ever see the notice “MIA 2.0 isn't active in this account: you're back to the usual MIA, with your request already typed.”, MB Suite turned it off in your account for a while: the panel switches to the previous version of MIA, with what you had written. Your conversations aren't lost: they show up again when it's turned back on.

Still have questions?

Ask MIA, the MB Suite AI assistant: open it with the MB AI button (⌘J) in the top bar. MIA knows the section you're in, so you can ask it about what you see on screen — and it can also answer how-to questions about using MB Suite.
