Task Packs: standardize repetitive processes

Updated 2026-07-07

In two lines: a Task Pack is a task template with relative dates. You apply it once and it creates an entire process —onboarding, campaign launch, month-end closing— with the dates already calculated and the tasks assigned.

Every time a new client comes in, the same list of steps repeats. A pack saves you from rebuilding it by hand each time and guarantees nothing ever gets skipped.

How do I create a Task Pack?

  • Open Task Packs from the tasks section.
  • Click New Task Pack and give it a descriptive name (for example, "New client onboarding").
  • Add the process's tasks. Each one has a title, description, Days offset (how many days after the start it's due), an optional priority and subtasks.
  • Order them by dragging to set the logical flow.

The Days offset are the key: instead of fixed dates, each task is placed relative to the start day (Day 0, +3 days, +7 days…). This way the same pack works for any client, whenever they start.

How do I apply it?

  • Choose the pack and use Apply Pack....
  • Set the Destination (where the tasks are created) and the start date: all tasks are calculated from there, based on their offset.
  • Review the preview. You can include or exclude specific tasks and assign them before confirming.
  • Confirm and the tasks are created automatically with their dates already set.
MB Suite comes with ready-made system packs you can use as a base and adapt. You can also duplicate one of your own to create variants (for example, a short onboarding and a full one).
