Recurring tasks and the global panel

Updated 2026-07-07

In two lines: beyond creating standalone tasks, you can automate the ones that repeat, comment on them with your team and reach them all from a global panel. For the basics, see Create and organize tasks.

Recurring tasks

A task can repeat on its own instead of you recreating it each time. When creating it, turn on Repeat and choose the frequency:

  • Daily — for everyday check-ins.
  • Weekly — regenerates on the day you choose; ideal for weekly reports.
  • Monthly — regenerates on the chosen date; ideal for month-end reviews or closings.
  • Custom — a tailored interval (every X days, weeks or months), with an optional end date.
Anything you do on a fixed rhythm (the Monday report, the month-end closing) should be a recurring task. Stop relying on someone remembering to create it.

Comments

Each task has a comments section where the team discusses, leaves feedback and records decisions. They stay associated with the task permanently, so the context isn't lost in chat.

Labels and filters

Use Labels to classify by type (for example, Design, Ads, SEO) and then filter quickly. The Filters panel combines scope, account, project, assignee, priority, labels and whether the task is recurring, to isolate exactly what you're looking for.

The global tasks panel

From the tasks icon in the top bar you open a panel with all your tasks, no matter which section of the platform you're in. It brings scope filters to see all your work together or narrow it to your own:

  • All workspaces — your tasks from all workspaces in one place.
  • Only mine — only the ones assigned to you.
  • A specific workspace — only the ones from that workspace.

You can also create a new task right there; it's created in the workspace you have selected.

Still have questions?

Ask MIA, the MB Suite AI assistant: open it with the MB AI button (⌘J) in the top bar. MIA knows the section you're in, so you can ask it directly about what you see on screen.
