Reauthorize an integration when it asks for permissions again

Updated 2026-07-14

In two lines: if an integration shows Pending permissions, it's resolved with Update permissions; if access has expired (Connection expired), with Reconnect. In both cases you reauthorize in one step and lose nothing of your configuration.

What does "Pending permissions" mean?

When MB Suite adds a new capability to a platform (for example, publishing to a type of account it didn't support before), that feature needs a permission your connection doesn't have yet. Everything you were already using keeps working; only the new feature stays on hold until you reauthorize.

The same applies if access to the platform expired over time: the connection stops bringing in data until you renew it.

How do I recognize it?

  • A Pending permissions chip (in amber) on the platform's card, in Settings > Integrations: new permissions are missing.
  • The card marked as Connection expired: access has expired and needs to be renewed.
  • A notice when you try to use a feature that requires the new permission.

How do I resolve it?

  • Go to Settings > Integrations and find the platform's card with the notice.
  • If it says Pending permissions, click Update permissions. If it says Connection expired, click Reconnect. The platform's window opens with the permissions that are needed.
  • Confirm the permissions. When you return, your connection is renewed.

Your data sources, the accounts already linked, and the rest of the configuration are kept: renewing access doesn't reset anything.

Google and Meta renew access on their own; LinkedIn and TikTok don't, and can expire over time. If you use those platforms, review their connections every so often. Reauthorizing is always safe: it never erases your configuration.
The use of the integrations and the handling of the data you connect are governed by the Terms and Conditions, which always hold the current version.
