In two lines: the Insights tab and the Last Access column tell you who uses the portal and who doesn't. It's your signal to know whether the deliverable is landing and who's worth following up with.
How do I know if my client uses the portal?
In Settings > Client Portal you have two views:
- In the Clients tab, the Last Access column shows when each one last entered; a green dot indicates they're connected right now.
- In each client's menu, View activity opens the detail of their usage.
What does the Insights tab show me?
The Insights tab summarizes the portal's activity: which clients are the most active and which haven't entered. It's useful for two concrete things:
- Confirm that your deliverable is landing (the client is actually looking at their data).
- Detect inactive clients before the relationship cools off.
A client who hasn't entered in weeks is an opportunity to reach out, not a data point to file away: a timely message brings the conversation back.
